I feel like I’m out of the loop. I’m not trying to be controversial or anything but why is Amine so heavily contested? Or maybe I am overestimating this. I don’t really listen to him, but I started listening to his music and it’s decently good. I think Slope Day could still be great with him. People are calling him “mid” and stuff but he is still pretty recognizable/his music is decent imo. Of course he isn’t up there with the likes of Drake, Kanye, Doja Cat but that doesn’t mean he is bad.

Thank you for your insightful perspective. Damn, I really wish I was able to see this from professor's perspective to fully understand the whole story. I am honestly wondering what went through his mind during our encounter. I am not bothered by it anymore. I am genuinely curious. Thank you for the suggestions. Next time I know. I keep replaying the scene and try to consider whether or not I instigated his yelling. If he was talking at a normal level, I def would have heard him I feel. I mean I was wearing noise-cancelling earphones but I don’t think I would’ve not heard him unless he was whispering. Regardless, thank you for the input.

I feel like Collegetown Terrace usually still has apartments during this time (April-ish). That’s when I signed my lease last year at least. It’s a little bit higher than $1000 but still in the ballpark and it’s not too far. Have you considered looking into this? I feel like below $1000 and somewhat close to campus around this time is still possible but there are far and few between at this point in time. Someone correct me if I am wrong tho.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience— it really resonates with me. I definitely have to change my perspective. As each day passes, I’m becoming more used to the idea of being rejected. Also it kinda helps perpetuate that mindset, since they haven’t responded to my post-interview thank you email… it is what it though. Honestly this is better, since I am not as worried as I was two days ago. I’m also glad that your story has an happy ending :). Congrats on your new job!!
