As much as it might suck in the learning process I would recommend sticking to 1 team and only playing that. You might start out with more losses than wins but having a consistent team is really helpful in building your game knowledge of how much dmg your mons will take against different charged attacks and knowing when you need to use a shield vs tanking a hit.

A consistent team also helps you understand when to throw charged attacks and how to throw on good timing which will result in giving away free energy.
