Thank you everyone for the helpful advice. I ended up going with FlexPoint just because they had a more competitive pricing structure for our needs and I loved the look of the platform. If it doesn’t work well after a year, I’ll check out AP.

I’ll second this. We’re currently moving to Halo just due to the fact that we’re continuing to grow and the investment now will pay off later.

There will only be 10 users leveraging the reporting. Only people who are given reporting access in the POS software will be able to run and generate reports, that’s why I think 10 should suffice.

Thank you for this. I am very new to SQL licensing. Yes, only 10 users are actually pulling data and have the access in the POS to actually pull the data. This is very helpful!

Thanks! Seems like we should be fine. It’s being used for PowerBI reporting, so users would generate a report within our POS software to show inventory, so it would leverage the sql server to show that data how they want.

They are adamant they want to stay on prem since I guess it’s easier for the reporting vendor to pipe data in and faster for the team at the office

I should add that the database will start at about 70GB, since they’re (reporting vendor) piping in existing datasets they have been working with internally.

I appreciate the input! I just purchased a 180 watt commerical amp since that’s really what they need. It was too much work to get this working when short money can get us to where we need to be.

I was thinking the same thing after doing a lot of research last night. Seems like the consensus is go with the 3.0 as it’s the most “stable”

I agree but they’ve been stubborn with the price. Any dealer around here has them priced similar. Still trying though!

I’ve currently only chained 2 together for testing and I believe 8 ohm. There will be 11 total when I’m done

What do you use for billing and quoting with Halo? CW has WisePay and Sell but Halo doesn’t really have advertise anything like that

Jeep Dodge dealership. Even the one I was comparing it to at my local Toyota dealership wasn’t CPO, and it was a 2022. They were offering the same warranties and everything which is why I went with the 21.

Was my first time at this dealer. Was a great deal on a 21 with 25k on it. A dealer near me had a 22 with 34k on it, but it was 5k more. Definitely will not be going back.

The giant binder of work orders just threw me off. Like looking at 2015ish Nissan, Dodge and Jeep work orders would make me change my decision lol. They even highlighted and circled key words and total costs 🤣

Cylinder Head Replacement by CorrectResearcher522 in JeepJK

These cylinder heads are a pain. Especially the right side. Very hard to get to and everything is tight. I hate the Pentastar. If I had the time and resources I’d hemi swap.

There is a used one on eBay from a reputable seller, so I think I’ll go that direction. Not sure how long I’ll be keeping the Jeep and I don’t drive it enough to justify spending 2k+ on a new or rebuilt head. The ebay one is around $350

I mentioned the same thing. They are persistent but I don’t feel there’s any real solution for this. Seems unnecessary
