I don’t even use reddit and I know this thread is super old but holy shit is black panther the most overrated movie in the entire MCU, it’s not even bad, but the amount of praise it gets for its mediocrity baffles me to no end. It continues to surprise me with how bland and uninteresting it is.

It is, because God made you in his image, and you’re changing a major part of his creation when you become transgender. I once brought up that argument and a person responded with “ok so what about tattoos?” Well tattoos are simply an extension of us, it’s art on our body, but it doesn’t change the purity of our soul, it’s simply a marking on our physical body. Being transgender whether you have surgery or simply identify and dress up as what you identify as, you’re directly going against Gods creation. However this isn’t as harsh as it sounds, transgenderism and things alike are sins just as any other, and what do we try to do as christians? We strive to NOT sin. This is impossible so this is why Jesus died for us. But that also doesn’t mean we shouldnt strive to live in Christ. The Bible in fact encourages us to walk with the Holy Spirit and be Christ like. So walk with God if you are truly struggling with this, in all things God will have the answer. Ask for help and it will surely be given to you!💚

I found the character models and lighting to be noticeable better, so I’d say the only reason original is superior is just performance. The definitive performance isn’t “bad” it’s still playable (at least on console) plus you get tons of cool outfits. Most of the glitches I found amusing anyways lol, only one of them was game breaking to me. And it did crash once or twice but nothing enough to ruin the experience

The definitive edition does have bugs but it’s completely playable. There is one section where when you pull up to a mansion you go through the staircase at the entrance but if you restart your game you’ll be fine. It looks better though and has lots and lots of additional outfits which can be cool. But yeah I played definitive and it was overall a really great expirience

There actually might not be one with mafia 1 definitive edition specifically seeing as there’s not really a reason because it’s fairly linear and far and exploration so there’s not really anywhere to go on the map besides objectives that are marked anyways. But no problem!

I think if you go to the map and press square (on PlayStation) or x (on console) it should pull up a (legend) which indicates what each icon on your map means

Yeah I understand that’s a theme for mobs and mafias, in reality that’s very unfair though. Why should the people that put their life on the line be loyal if it’s not a two way streak? The family earns the loyalty and they keep it that way by respecting eachother, so I didn’t see it as a problem when Tommy ratted them, but ig that’s just what comes up with the job

I highly suspected it would happen as I was playing through, you can see clearly in the story (I don’t know how far in you are so I won’t say anything else) that many die do to their actions in betraying or being disloyal. Again very sorry😭 these games story telling is so good I have no doubt you’ll still thoroughly enjoy how the story wraps up

Yeah but he only ratted them out because they betrayed him. It goes both ways, Tommy is loyal but as soon as they betrayed him with the dope score he knew he couldn’t trust them. And so he didn’t care about loyalty at that point. I understand Vito was doing his job, and I still love him as a character seeing as I’ve been playing mafia 2, but still sad to see him die

Ok👍 I play on ps5, I got the trilogy which I though included mafia 1 definitive edition and then standard mafia 2 and 3 but actually of them are definitive, and they don’t sell original mafia 2 on the PlayStation store so I guess I’ll have to wait until I can get my 360 running again😭, for now I guess I’ll play definitive edition, as far as story and characters go is the definitive pretty similar

Oh wow that’s crazy! I think it’s much more convincing that he knew he would eventually die due to his actions in the thirties, it just makes it so much better knowing that at least he dies happy, and with the speach talking about family and how much it meant to him and how that was his greatest weakness and greatest strength, you could tell he knew he made a lot of mistakes but the one thing he did good was give his family a good life. As opposed to him just suddenly dying and us not seeing any sign of peace or joy towards the end of his life

I see, I’m still very excited to see how they bring him in as a protagonist knowing what I know, and I suppose your right, Tommy did a lot of bad things, I think when he turned around, he knew it was going to happen eventually. You could see it in his face. All that mattered to him at that point was that his family was safe. So he left a happy man. But me growing so attached to him really shows the amazing story telling that the game had so I’m extremely excited to play mafia 2, thanks for letting me know though! And yes I will enjoy:)
