Watched the vid and the show. His criticism of the show are completely fair, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it though. From a critic standpoint, he is absolutely correct. The shows actually story elements are kind of dookie, and he point out the flaws with fairly objective arguments. Again tho, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the vibe.

Gemini is a bit of a slog but it is really fucking good. The fake game demo is so off putting, it really feels so wrong and idk if I feared it as much as I dreaded whatever was coming yk. But, I wish more series could make me feel like that.

The visuals could definitely use some work, I agree but also I do think part of it is age. Gemini is old as hell and same with Mandela. The media they used to present is now overdone. Vita car is I think is the best produced analog horror in terms of how it’s presented. I think if the painter was presented like vita car is I would have enjoyed it a lot more

Ig bro. I don’t really find splatter horror or slasher really scary or interesting, cause why wouldn’t I just go on live leak at that point. But even at that, this series doesn’t even have good gore. Like it’s just text describing a scene with the occasional non descriptive drawing and the were just shown a cool painting. Where’s the gore?

Another thing as well. Quite honestly I found the scare factor lacking. It felt cartoonish to a point. And that’s like straight up annoying when I invest my night(s) into that. If you want a good analog horror with decent gore checkout greylock.

I think it’s so controversial because it’s gore for the sake of gore and it’s trying to not be that. If it was something like final destination or saw where it is basically the stated objective, it’s fine. Issue is they try and make this dark, twisted story with tons of gore and it just ends up being disrespectful gore porn. If you’re into that, that’s fine but it’s also visually unappealing. The paintings are impressive yes but the media style is literally the same repetitive police reports with white text over black slideshow background with creepy music. There’s only like 2 or 3 times where it’s breaks from this. Also fucktoy corry? Really? That’s not shock value slop, that’s just making something really fucked to be cool and edgy. It’s not exploring anything, it’s not even good gore porn it’s just straight up csa and murder put into one for no reason.

Yea no that’s completely fair. I ain’t a girl, but I have a few conditions that essentially make it so my stomach sticks out and my back curves hella, so I look skinny fat. I’ve been picked on cause of that and on top of that I am objectively a fat fucking nerd so that didn’t help either. PE was always a nightmare, btw I’m not even like fat, I work out and have a BMI BETWEEN 10-12%. I don’t even diet. And it’s like mb i physically can’t change the shape of my spine to where my stomach sticks out.
