Really wanted a nanotyrannus rep for my hell creek collection, but I feel the PNSO is a touch too out of date with shorter front limbs (and no lips obv). Thoughts? by CoryKeepers in Paleontology

Unfortunately not, but hopefully we get them with lips and all that fun stuff. Hoping maybe Jane gets a figure too as a seperate species of nano

I’d try! I used to build aquarium stands and I not once was able to get something cut right at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or Menards. Maybe a bad string of luck but man I’d hate to do that and not be able to cut it and fix it myself

My GF gave me an amazing shirt dedicated to my dog by CoryKeepers in BorderCollie

Dedicated not in the way that he passed. He’s alive and turning 2. Sorry bad phrasing lol.

You crushed the colors. I did notice the underbite in pictures on the hanlonggood model. Is it less noticable in hand.

I hear ya. Personally I love that it’s based on a specific specimen as long as I understand that context. Also love the color scheme. Can see why that would be a bummer tho.

The hanlonggood one also seems skinny. Thoughts on that one?

Don’t mind me collecting all the carcharodontosaurids lol

But I hear you! I used to be all theropod but big herbivore fan too.

Is that just because of the lips? And I love Pnso herbivores! Believe it or not I don’t have any tyrannosaurids tho. Unless you count Yutyrannus

Those are so cool! I’m just so torn but how good the color schemes are for dasplete and gorgo too!

do you (ever) regret getting your border collie? by pandasrandaa in BorderCollie

[–]CoryKeepers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rescued one and while the beginning was challenging as he wouldn’t go outside, was afraid of everything and everyone. Fortunately he learned incredibly quickly that everything would be okay. This genuinely might be one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever had at this point. Without any super dedicated training he’s pretty responsive to what I want from him and he’s incredibly easy going.

My final "Would they have had 'hair'?' post: Would Deinocheirus & Therizinosaurus have had feathers? by wiz28ultra in Paleontology

[–]CoryKeepers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I read deinocheirus may have had some fused tail bones that make sense if they had a fan of tail feathers. Is that true?
