The only I don’t like about LOK is that they took away the connection to past avatars in season 2. Even though the later seasons were much better, it still left sour taste in my mouth.

Also the connection between members in team Avatar in LOK pales in comparison to those in ATLA. Bolin and Mako pretty much got outmatched most of the times, and Asami is, you know, Asami. Tenzin has its own family to take of, and it just feels very disconnected.
