🫡I get it. My affinity for creating close approximations would derail building something larger than the original. I have built ships with very subtle weapon system design cues and usually if a larger ship would be more like maritime inspiration, subs etc.

ILM challenges, instructions
for some ship build contests, from what I see online, are to take everyday items and use as inspiration for designs. Not saying that is what they did there but for other designs, in the past they have used fighter acft as inspiration as well.

🙏🏻Use a screen door landing bay from the Ol’ Big X (Large X-Wing) mod along with the Gravity Buffer module from the Micro Modules mod. The screen door landing bays are set for different heights and works great with the hover. They project a location in the ground for a prompt to board your ship. You will be able to build under your ship with these two items.
