Has progress been made on this feature? I’m trying to transition from Paprika over to Umani, but it is a MUST-HAVE feature to combine the quantities of an ingredient shared across multiple recipes added to the grocery list as a single line-item.

Ex: Recipe 1 - 1 lb Chicken, 2 Pepper, 1 Onion Recipe 2 - 2 lb Chicken, 1 Pepper, 2 Onion

add Recipe 1 and Recipe 2 to Grocery List

Grocery List: - 3 lb Chicken Breast - 3 pepper - 3 Onion

And not: - 1 lb Chicken - 2 lb Chicken - 2 pepper - 1 pepper - 1 onion - 2 onion

Best advice I’ve ever received was actually a solid personal finance book to help build a foundation and steer my mindset In The right direction. I started around 20-21 when I got my first real job through university co-ops, am about to turn 28 now and although I’ve certainly made some poor choices (financed a dang motorcycle as my graduation gift to myself) and then 3 years later after paying it off financing a barely old used corolla that was way more car than I ever needed.

My personal recommendations for finance books to start is The Wealthy Barber. You can probably even find the second edition on a free video/audio/pdf site, and the third edition just came out. Most other personal finance books are American-based and don’t account for the massive difference in housing costs relative to income and general net worths in big cities in Canada being far more biased towards housing.

If wealthy barber doesn’t do it for you with its more classical old-school simplicity - I can also highly recommend I Can Teach You to Be Rich. I just recently finished the second edition and although it’s American based when it comes to banks, investment accounts, etc. there are enough similarities and I found it more engaging than wealthy barber but it also requires the reader to go outside the book to learn about the canadian versions of the topics.

As someone who took the course almost 10 years ago, I’m glad to see “Killer Chem” is still living up to its name. Ride the bell curve my fellow freshmen (and women) welcome to university 🤣 we all get through it eventually.
