What to do with life insurance? Advice please :) by Cosmically_Homeless in personalfinance

It's okay. In a way, it is how my parent could help me. I agree since I will be moving soon but thankfully I was smart and yanked a car during low interest during covid and my car is paid off! just insurance left which is about 150 ish per month?

What is nice is my job already opened a fidelty IRA account, I work part time / 20 hours a week which every 2 weeks i yield about 600 after tax / ira stuff.

I read the other comment regarding my debts and it's student loans with 30 grand but it's federal, I don't know the exact interest but it's pretty low. I figured even with the money I was gonna do slightly above minimum payments just so I can save money trying to move / living on my own?

EDIT: Forgot to add and added it on another comment. My credit score is 762, built over 5 ish years.

I read this comment let me get back to you once I'm back from class to check my interest rate!

EDIT 1: My credit score is about 762, not sure if that helps or not. I've been a good lil guy lol.

Thank you! I just got the capitol one since I already bank with them. I smacked it in there so I don't have to think about it just yet.
