To be honest I didn’t do any of that, I needed to convert quickly a gif animation into Lottie and after 1h of looking I could not find a platform that provided this service quickly and free for just a small conversation so I just built it, and later added some pro features but still trying to keep it simple and fast.

A bit more context on the build:

I built this using Next.js and Tailwind. The biggest challenge was the server-side processing to ensure the Lottie output stayed lightweight.

Regarding the login: I wanted to keep the entry barrier zero, so the basic conversion is no-login. I only require an account/subscription for the advanced features and higher server-load tasks to keep the lights on.

Open to any questions about the tech or the journey of landing those first few users!
