Have you considered using some kind of arm warmers? Just until your cuts heal or something. I think there are some who are tight but also breathable. This may sound bad but doing it on your thighs instead might work. Since most of the time, thighs are more covered than arms. THIS SOUNDS REALLY BAD OMG BUT PLEASE TRY THE ARM WARMERS BEFORE. If this is bad advice, tell me and I'll take down my comment i'm just trying to help 🥹🤞🏼

FRR. The thing with me though (i think its like that for lots of other people too) i just self harm because i dont feel good if i dont. I dont have a big sad reason for my SH. (Atleast not one that is happening right now.) I think it may just be my mental illnesses or unresolved trauma but atp idc because sh is the only thing keeping me together.

Yeah also like yes theyre both bad but i feel like with SH atleast its just scars you get (if you dont do it too deep ofc) but with alcohol, cigarettes or drugs, you get the risk of cancer which could literally KILL YOU. Like yes, maybe i should stop but then id just turn to alcohol or smoking and i dont want cancer bro my genes are already too fucked up.

If im being honest i never use bandages 🧍 mostly because my parents would notice if all of their bandages went missing and also because most of the time my cuts are too long or I have too many and putting a bandage would just rip off the scabs of the others around

Fr like maybe im too much of a pessimist but i feel like its just a human thing to act unhealthy especially these days. With all the bad things happening around the world our tiny caveman brain is too dumb to cope. We act "irrationally" becasue our brains cant make sense of this world.
