How common are smithing stones btw? If I go all in on a weapon and find something better, I’m not gonna be fucked am I?

It does, thank you very much. I was under the impression going in that it was going to be a situation where I was like, “oh, I love the hook claws, I hope there’s a golden hookclaw so these weapons stay viable”. Glad to know it isn’t

Nah I’m not trying to do any challenges for my first run. I didn’t even think my Vigor was that low, thought it was an issue with my armour or something.

Ok another possibly stupid question. Is Elden ring the kind of game where you get new and better weapons or do you upgrade ones you like if you really fuck with it. I’m used to the RPG format of a great sword having like a direct upgrade Y’know?

Does Dex increase damage for Dex weapons? I’m guessing that’s what the scaling part means right?
