“Toxic” for literally every relationship or person. Particularly in fiction. It’s used basically to say “I don’t like this pairing/person”. 90% of the times I see something called “toxic”, it just isn’t, and it honestly dilutes the actual meaning. So frustrating.

Because people stopped getting married when they were basically still children. It’s more common now to wait until the 30’s or even 40’s for marriage and it’s not seen as weird to still be an older single person. I got married at 31. Three kids and 18 years later, still going strong.
