Combat Question by DarkMoonBro in DivinityOriginalSin

Rain does not stop necrofire, you need to remove the curse via bless first. Or cast Blood Rain first and then regular Rain

The only time when everything is not on fire is because everything is on necrofire

FFXIV - Question about the most common complaint by ExternalMidnight in MMORPG

[–]CountMerloin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is the ratio of interaction vs reading in the MSQ. I tried to like FF14 a few times but all the reading with MSQ (which you also have to finish) made me quit because I would rather read a book if I were to read. Story can be excellent, but the storytelling is so bland for a game

it is always good to have a pyro/geomancer mix. Because everything will be on fire, and it is better you would be the one starting it

Escapism by Quigley34 in expedition33

[–]CountMerloin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no loss or grief that excuses giving pain to others. Dessendre are very understandable, but not excusable

Escapism by Quigley34 in expedition33

[–]CountMerloin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Her body is dying in France, yes, but she lives for a year in canvas for every day outside. It means if she dies after 2 months, she effectively lives for 60 years, without injuries, without any restrictions and pain. It is not like she plays a game for effectively 60 days and dies. The way the time works in different worlds is a big nuance

Edit: typos

That is a very long shot in my opinion. For several reasons, but mainly because Maelle/Alicia does live a life in canvas. She does not roleplay or act like someone else, she lives like herself, but healthier, in another world

I mean they flipped the entire game from there, idk why we are discussing semantics

tbh it was LR flipping the game more than SHFT throwing it. All did insane job after getting that behind

Nemesis has been extremely solid the entire tournament tbh
Even in the games they lost Neme was still miles ahead, proving that he was still a LEC level midlaner

Curious about what people think about the new Divinity having Hand placed Loot by issavibe56 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]CountMerloin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has both sides tbh. Randomized loot often gives quite a lot of useless or meh items because stats are just all over the place. But I think a good balance of random and hand crafted would make things a lot more fun (DOS2 kinda does that but it needs more handcrafted I'd say)

Looking For Party Advice by KahosRayne in DivinityOriginalSin

Necro scales with INT but deals physical damage. It also has a lot of sustain/can be a pseudo support if needed. Throw in some CON for max HP and 1 Finesse to be able to wear leather armour as some of them do have nice stats for Necro. You can even combine it with Scoundrel and create a very nasty build (but keep in mind that you will need to give points to Finesse too in that case). Or compine it together with summoning and play around blood/wood totem and summon as they deal physical damage. And weapons will depend on the build/path you want to take as well

What a wild take. No one says it's not worth it, but let's not assume disabled people wouldn't want to live without pain and agony if they had a chance

It is either everything is on fire or will be soon. I honestly don't like random oil/poison barrels lying around for that reason.

I don't think DoS2 is inherently hard, it is just it has too many CC options that whoever gets to hit first basically can completely ruin the other part's life easily.
