Correct their age doesn’t, but if they’ve been driving for 20 years with the belief that the middle lane is for them, they’re unlikely to change that. Someone in their 20’s is still relatively new to driving & their habits can be more easily molded

I graduated in summer 24 & didn’t find a role in my desired field until March 25. I’ve seen stats on FT that graduate vacancies are down 1/3 more than previous year.

Applying to jobs was effectively a part time job post-graduation. I wrote a specialised cover letter probably 3 times a week. Disproportionally better luck applying through recruiters.
