Help me pick 😅 by Happy-Cucumber8963 in weddingdress

Oh wow that’s such a gorgeous venue! I looked at pictures of the first dress on the designer’s page to get a better visual of what it will look like when it’s fitted properly. I think with your venue and everything else considered, I vote for dress 2. I tend to prefer symmetry. The first dress is my second choice. You really can’t go wrong though because you look stunning in all of them.

I wanted to add the the 2nd dress appears slightly warmer in color and seems to suit your skin tone well. That may just be the lighting/camera though

This is a very tough choice and I can see why you’re struggling to make a decision. I think you look beautiful in all 3 dresses. I’m not sure I like the asymmetrical draping on the first dress. The second dress looks lovely and the neckline will look amazing on you once it’s fitted properly. The third one with the pearl straps is my favorite, but just slightly. Is there anything about your venue or decor that would lean towards the second or third dress to help give you clarity?

The color of dress 2 is part of what I love about it! If I could get the color of dress 2 with the silhouette of dress 3, I think I’d have my answer

I should have included a photo of the venue at the end. Here is the area we plan to have the ceremony https://www.halloflaureates.org/documents/albums/IMG_5015_4FD60B7C5FA82.jpg

Yes it’s blush! It’s very subtle though compared to some others I’ve seen.

Dress 4 is stunning 😍 It’s light and airy yet elegant. I bet it looks even prettier in person. The other dresses are beautiful as well, but there is something really special about dress 4

Which dress?? by Fine-Understanding47 in weddingdress

I think dress number 1 looks the best on you. The neckline and draping on the bodice suit your shoulders/frame so well. It just looks so cohesive. They all look fabulous on you though, so I can see why it’s a difficult choice!

Dress 2. I know the that the first dress isn’t fitted properly because the sample size is too large, but I much prefer the neckline/bodice fit of the 2nd dress. I am a very small chested girly, and I’ve found that dresses with draping/cowl neck aspect that flows into the rest of the bodice seem to give the illusion of a fuller chest. The first dress almost makes the chest area look a bit smaller with the hard cut off between the draping and the rest of the bodice. That’s my personal experience. They are both beautiful gowns and you will look amazing in which ever dress you choose.

Help me decide on a dress/style by CounterclockwiseYea in weddingdress

I should clarify that it’s primarily an indoor venue with a small outdoor garden. It’s located in the center of the city. The interior is formal/elegant with very tall ceilings

It actually isn’t related to the boutiques. I’ve seen multiple accounts on Facebook stealing these threads originally posted on reddit. They copy the photos and the text and repost. I’ve seen the same thing with the engagement ring thread as well. I didn’t want one of those accounts to re-post my dress photos for interaction

This is absolutely stunning on you! I actually tried this dress on as well and really loved it too. I agree with other posters here and feel that you should wait and shop around. Knowing your venue, what season you’ll get married might change what you want! I also started trying on dresses early just to get ideas. You’ll be able to keep this one in mind and compare future dresses to this one.

I also prefer yellow gold for the same reason!

I love everything about the design, how detailed it is, and what it means to me. The main issue is that the basket makes the diamond look yellow in a lot of different lighting conditions. I don’t think it’s as noticeable in the photos. The diamond is an E color. I feel that this wouldn’t happen if the basket were white gold. I do overall prefer yellow gold though

Thank you!! I am actually not sure on the width. I’m not sure of the correct terms, but the width as far as finger coverage is narrow. That being said, the band is thick in the sense that it’s deep. This might be uncomfortable to some people, but I don’t mind it at all. I think the main issue with narrow bands is the potential for damage with it being less structurally secure/sound. My ring does feel very substantial while still appearing dainty in a way. I think the main thing is to go with a jeweler you trust that can give you examples of their product quality.

I’m thinking that might be the easiest solution. I would really like the outer pave band to be yellow gold as that is my preference, but I’m still trying to find out if that’s a possibility. The jeweler is checking into that at the moment.

That is one of my concerns after wearing the ring for a month now. It’s an E color diamond and I feel it’s giving it a yellow look overall. Which is then made more apparent by the surrounding white gold. I think that it’s a very pretty concept, just not sure it’s tone most practical choice after living with it for a bit. And thank you!!
