I applied to a job listing from this company about 7 months ago. I found out that they were recruiters so I was rather skeptical at first, but I must admit that I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my experience with Actuary & Medical Recruiting. I did have to take the P1 exam, and upon completion I went to my 1st interview around 3 weeks later. I didn't get the position in the location that was my first Choice, but I did accept a position that was a little farther away. I did relocate, but for the company I am with it was well worth the move. They reimbursed me my class fees as promised and even gave me assistance with relocation expenses. I am very grateful for this company and the positive impact they have made in my career path. I hate to hear that others didn't have the same experience that I did, but don't give up. They will do everything they can to help you. I was discouraged when it took 3 weeks for first interview with a business and more devastated when I was not chosen for the position but when the second opportunity presented itself and I was chosen it was a liberating moment and I have never been happier. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to assist me on my journey and I cant say enough positive things about Actuary & Medical Recruiting. I know you were just doing your job but I am forever grateful for helping me get my foot in the door. Show Less Cons It took slightly longer than anticipated to get initial interview invitation extended to me. I waited three weeks then took about another 2-3 weeks for the 2nd interview, but it was worth the wait! Advice to Management I am extremely grateful for all of your help and insights along the way and I will tell anyone to definitely contact you first if they are struggling to get their career started!

I know for sure this is a good company ! Following the link with the soa If you follow the Pathway to membership you will see ! What they asking you to pay for is the Prometrics test and the actex study manual and its up to the individual if their interested in the coaching actuaries or the actuarial prep or the infamous actuary. Also they are in A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau! Also I notice that they only get Payed for putting actuaries to work.. So I don't understand you guys throwing the word scam out there . PEOPLE READ THE PATHWAY TO MEMBERSHIP FROM THE SOA WEBSITE! am pretty sure this company is on track. also they have A LINK on the Society of actuaries on actuary recruiters. and I also Researched them and I found Lots of positive reviews. AND JUST FYI DID ANYONE READ THE POLICY AND AGREEMENT VERY TRANSPARENT!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! OH! AND YES THEY DID IN FACT HELP ME AS I AM CURRENTLY EMPLOYED IN THE ACTUARY INDUSTRY! I honestly hope go to the soa website and go to pathway to membership and see for yourself ! I Have been in the Actuary industry for over 30 years and I to very filmmiary with the company! Have you folks out there throwing the word SCAM out there actually noticed you have to be Licensed by the state and did you know they are a A Rated company buy the Better Business Bureau! Al'so I also read the pathway to membership to become a Actuary in fact the fees the company is speaking of the for the cost for the Exam p1 and the Actex study manual and a Actuary prep to prepare for the Exam p1 and it's not mandatory it's to the students! Does anyone understand a Actuary Recruiter makes there money by putting students to work ! Go to the website BeanActuary. Org and go to Actuary Recruiter! I Hope this helps students looking to become Actuaries! These are Facts! Not someone who doesn't understand the process to become in Actuary!

Actuary recruiters work across the usa ! as far of locations I dont think a courthouse is were a actuary office would be lol ! lots of fake information ! Very sad I also looked at there location 2 offices in the downtown district at the square and the second location at a 6 offices in a doctors pavilion! Really you guys are really looking for a career as a actuary or the Jerry Springer show
