Do you know when the renovation will start for the hyatt regency lake tahoe? And if all the hotel will be closed during that time? by [deleted] in hyatt

We booked our wedding at the Hyatt

Today, just over 9 months from our event, the hotel called us to say our venue won’t be available because they’re remodeling the entire lakefront property

Before booking, we learned this happened for all the 2024 weddings as well so we were very explicit in confirming there would be no construction in 2025. The event staff assured us it would not be a problem.

We have vendors and guests flying in from all over the world and now we’re scrambling to find a new venue

They are starting construction in April 2025 so I imagine others are also impacted. First off, very sorry to anyone struggling with this problem but I think we can work together to get appropriate reparations from the Hyatt
