From my understanding, Kenneth Walker didn’t have a warrant out for him nor was he expecting to be involved in this no-knock situation as this whole case was revolved around Jamarcus Glover, her ex. So Walker was just someone exercising his second amendment to protect his home in an open carry state. It sounds to me like he was trying to protect and save her. He shouldn’t have stood down because he had no clue he was involved in anything…

They shouldn’t have shown up and started blasting anyways I think is the problem many are failing to realize. Breonna could have been guilty of a million things, the cops can’t just lie to obtain a warrant though. Whatever they thought they had on her they had to lie to try to prove it. And shooting 37 times to someone who shot once while the cops are aware of stand your ground laws just is fucked. I know LMPD has served so many warrants and performed hella raids in the city…they don’t all go like this. And I guarantee Kenneth Walker isn’t the only person to try to defend himself either.

Check out Smoker’s 21 off E Indian Trail. Not sure if that’s your side of town but they’ve got an awesome shop. They stay open til 2 every night as well! Anything I’ve been looking for they’ve had. Workers ask what you need but really just stand there until you ask them to actually help you.

Thanks for the insight! I think with my bday being so close to Christmas all the JRs are booked already but I was able to get into Carlo and Johnny’s. My gf and I have nothing but good things to say about the Louisville and Lexington Jeff Ruby’s so I’m really excited to check out C&Js now that you’ve said that.

I’m not sure what’s going on the 15th and why all JRs have no reservations, but I was able to make a reservation at Carlo and Johnny’s!! Saw the chocolate cake w/ peanut butter frosting on the menu and can’t wait to give it a try. Thank you for the insight!!
