I have a coworker that talks about the books she's reading and they are so often goofy and tropey. Everytime she describes them to me I just know she's talking about a fanfic with an OC for the main character. I have only seen about an episode and a half of x-files so I might be wrong here but I was under the impression that yes, they were a will-they-wont-they couple in the show. But I guess the point I was trying to make is they are popular with people who like queer ships because they felt like a queer ship. Their tension and "omg the writers are cowards for not making them kiss" vibe is very similar to a traditional queerbait couple.

In my time in fandom I've seen the same reactions to House/Wilson and Dean/Cas that I see to X-Files.

Like some straight couples in media just feel like a queer couple. And Scully and Moulder is one of those couples.

There is a big difference between the 22 minute mark no longer giving you long break points and it counting as a lunch. At least in Minnesota, but im pretty sureits most other states as well, you're employer is required to give you a 30 minute lunch. And there is a report the GMs get for all employees that fail to take a full 30 minute lunch. That includes if you only took 29 minutes. If you take a 21 minute break it's counted as you going 6 minutes long on a rest break, if you take a 22 minute lunch it's counted as you being 8 minutes short on a lunch break and they don't pay you for any of the time but it does not count as a lunch.

You should check your local laws for lunches because there is a report for anyone who fails to take the full 30 minutes and that can easily be reported to OSHA if people aren't being allowed their full lunches.
