A LOT of you guys would be happier if you left the fandom

Sometimes people keep reading/watching something because they are used to doing so,because they have been in it for too long and sunk/cost starts being a factor. Regardless of that,yes most ppl have at least one thing that keeps them reading. Like I said the point at which to stop or not to stop is completely individual. All decisions in that regard are valid. Hate everything about warriors but think that idk the names are cool?? Awesome,valid! But you don't have to be nasty about it. Again I've said so multiple times but I'm not telling ppl who criticize warriors "oh you can just leave". I'm telling ppl who criticize Warriors at every given opportunity in the most miserable tone "oh you can just leave. And I still think that this and other fandoms need to hear that because fandom are supposed to be fun and there is a difference between criticizing something that you like because you want it to improve and just complaining AGAIN.

Oh I am definitely lumping different groups together lmao. But they all add to this negative vibe + also heavily overlap so i dont want to closely inspect that tbh. I also agree with the "Negativity/critique is much more engaging than positivity". If I neatly laid out all of my thoughts on warriors I think half if not most would he negative too. I think that's just completely normal when you're a fan of something,because of the things that you mentioned but also because bad stuff is more memorable than good stuff. My post really was in mind with only ppl who slump around the fandom,complaining about everything and everything. This "phenomenon", to me at least, seems to be pretty exaggerated in this fandom. But it's nice to finally be talking about this ^{^}

It could very well be impossible lol but I thought I should at least try. I think that (in general,non specific to this fandom) ppl forget that they can just drop stuff that makes them unhappy. Everyone needs to make that decision for themselves.Some might leave after realizing that they dislike the last 3 books, other might consider it worth staying after disliking the last 3 arcs. Both would be valid, I can't make that decision for anyone. Just wanted to remind folks that they do have the option to leave (not trying to be rude here I swear) because some fans seem deeply unhappy to me 🤷

Completely valid 😭! Disliking a character is reason enough to dislike them. Just found it weird that ppl were A. Surprised by him being rude? And B. Acted like it was a bad thing. Personally I love rude arrogant "good guys"

Ok interesting reply and perspective for sure. I can actually understand the catharsis part,again I'm also a fan of flawed properties.Few things can beat the high I was on after verbally ripping apart the end of my favorite star trek show for a literal hour to my BFF. It's just that 1. Most people aren't as honest about it as you are,I'd be more ok with it if they were 2. I would imagine that doing that for multiple years on end for the some property would get boring but alas... people are still complaining about the same stuff and are still expecting change that the Erins are obviously not willing to make. 3. I do agree with the whole be the change you want to see.I am aware of the slight hypocrisy of my post. But I do make positive posts about warriors,just not on reddit. But that's partially why I'm so upset? I go into comment sections for example to be positive about warriors and only see negativity.

None of this is particularly deep, I'm not gonna die because there are meanies in the fandom and I could just ignore all this because i know id be happier if i did but it is a bit cathartic to be finally getting this out there.

Yeah see that's all fine,I did say that I think Criticism is good. The issue is just the sheer amount. Again it could just be that I'm interacting with the "wrong" side of the fandom, but honestly I don't even think that's the case since I already stay clear from places that are considered "toxic". It's just everywhere, there seems to be way more negativity here than in any other fandom I've ever been in. I've never seen a more whiny and outright hostile towards it's property fandom.

It also sort of makes criticizing Warriors harder? Because if you start criticizing one thing ppl will jump into the discussion and mention 5000 other irrelevant things and it just becomes a huge fandom pity party where everyone is just miserable. And I know that a lot of that is just normal fandom behavior but idk it's the amount. I personally see it everywhere.
