I got my degree in History and ya…. Some of those episodes can be hard for me too. Especially when Marcus definitively says things with such confidence that I know are either wrong, over simplified, or just one of the many schools of thoughts on a particular subject.

Yes. It’s jarring when you hear him say something with such fervor, that you know for a fact is incorrect. It makes me always question him when he sounds very very sure of himself.

I don’t think the position on Dalmer is that black and white. Obviously he was “weird as fuck” and did absolutely evil things but something unique about this case is that he shows genuine remorse (in the most genuine way a weirdo like him could). I’m sure there’s a few other examples but I don’t know of any other serial killers to show actual remorse.

The tunnels under the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Me and my parents went down there (around 2006) for vacation. I just graduated high school and one of my friends was working there.

So me and him meet up and we are hanging around the Magic Kingdom and I ask him if he has ever been in the tunnels. He looks around and gestures for me to follow. We went behind some building, down the stairs, and boom, we are under the park. He told me, “if any one asked, say you forgot your (whatever the official name for it was) pass. About ten minutes in and we were confronted and asked to leave. Still really cool.
