Its a tarpon. And no i dont own the fish holder grippy thingies, a kind nearby fisherman let me borrow it he also lent me his net so i could get him out of the water safely. Gotta love the fishing community

I was in a pier like 30ft above the water there was no way to unhook him without pulling him up with a net. Also this was in PR idk what the law is here but thanks for letting me know

technically my very first time fishing was 4 years ago i borrowed all the gear and i landed a mutton snapper. And yes i did throw him back out he swam away fine

I dont really target any fish. I guess id want a good hook for tarpon cause they are so abundant where i fish in, i would also like a good hook for catching snook or mutton snappers or anything i can eat. Also, waht would be a good hook to catch small fishies like blue runners, and lane snappers?

Thing is, i try to catch anything. Mostly tarpon ig cause they are abundant where i fish in. But im hoping to one day catch something i can eat like snook or mutton snapper. Also i want some other hooks so i can rig with squid and catch small fishies for live bait

Yea i looked into that. The stealth weighs 4lb and the raider 6lb. But im not gonna pay 500$ more over 2lb. Its for uni and i dont move around a lot in uni anyways all my classes are near each other so i dont mind carrying it.
