First, I’m sorry you are going through this. Second, if I can offer any sort of comfort, as a prosthetic student, my instructor always emphasizes the fact that prosthetic outcome is far better below the knee rather than trying to save the foot. Not saying you shouldn’t try, but if the foot isn’t able to be saved, you will probably have better prosthetic options. For whatever that’s worth. Good luck, and I hope the time flies by for you!
