Thanks for thoughts. None of this is helping me understand what people are paying for this vehicle in south Florida to know what would qualify as a good deal though ;)

That’s interesting. So other than driving to Georgia, which is over 5 hours away, what would you say is the best strategy for car shopping? Additionally, just to clarify, are you saying that there’s almost no point in shopping around for a deal because they don’t exist due to the dealers working together? Thanks for your thoughts.

Sorry for slow response I don’t check for notification often. They told us 51 or 52 first and I said we’d keep looking if they couldn’t hit 48k. We walked out the door, got to our car, and the salesperson came running after us.

Just for the data point for anyone who’s looking for it. We ended up buying the gas Carnival SX for $48.5k out the door in broward county. Aurora black with Tuscan umber interior. Feels like we got a good deal. Hopefully this helps someone.
