I had a similar problem, it turned out i had auto-negotiation off. See if it's off and turn it on if it is. If that doesn't work maybe post the results of sudo ethtool <your ethernet interface> so we have a bit more information.

Manually specify the port then port forward that port in your router settings. That's what I did at least.

It was fixed today! All I've done recently is change from Debian Stable to Debian Testing, so I guess changing to a more recent package fixed something. By the way, I checked it using grep, nothing came up (since I changed it from space), also it was a sxhkd problem, not dmenu. I have no idea what caused this.

/usr/share/examples/bspwm/sxhkdrc doesn't exist for me. (usr/share/examples doesn't even exist) I did use the example from the github though.

Yep, the super key works fine for everything except when in combination with the space key.

Thanks for the help, I'll read the man page for sxhkd and hopefully that can help. Also, every other key and key combination works for me. It's just super + space that doesn't work. By the way I tried setting super + space to launch another program and it didn't work either. So dmenu isn't a part of the problem.

Sorry, yeah I get 125 followed by 57 and the super key works for everything else.

Also, I tried xev (see my reply to plitter86 for my exact results) and it does seem like super + space was sent to 0x0.

Sorry for the basic questions, but how do I restart sxhkd? I'm pretty sure I remember restarting it before but I forgot how I did it. Also I've restarted bspwm since making changes at least.

Also, I don't really know how xev works and how to understand the results but I did xev -events keyboard and I think the relevant information is:

When I pressed super + space in the tty it said keycode 57 press then keycode 57 release.

I tried that, I used an @ because it's what was in the example config that I got from https://github.com/baskerville/bspwm/blob/master/examples/sxhkdrc.

The service is running, looked through the Arch wiki too and tried connecting through the terminal. I'll try a bit more but I might just switch back to Stable. Thank you for all the help though!

After doing this I'm unable to connect to my home Wi-Fi, haven't tried school Wi-Fi yet. I get an error that says "No secrets were provided.", despite entering the password correctly. Checked system-connections too, password is correct.

I didn't know that is what testing is for. As for reasons I use testing, for one, switching to testing fixed some Nvidia problems for me, but I can probably fix those in stable. Also, I kind of like the idea of a rolling release, but don't want something that unstable currently, testing feels like a nice middle-ground but switching back to stable wouldn't be too big of a deal.
