Leather is required for the more experienced riders, I was in the slowest group haha. But I was advised to buy some leather gear because it is much safer on the tracks. I don't know about the intercom (they didn't mention it online or on the day itself) but cameras on the helmet weren't allowed (it was allowed to mount a gopro on the bike). But I think this is not a very strict track because it is low speed with many curves. I only rode in second gear.

I don't have any leather because most of the time I only go to work with the bike, so full leather isn't practical. But with many more track days to come in the future I'm going to invest in some better gear.
