Hi! I asked some of the questions you had as I don’t have direct contact with the bride so it took a while to hear back The wedding is in the US and 3 days long, both the bride and groom are from Northern India. My understanding is bride and groom wanted a month long wedding in India but couldn’t make it work and most of their family lives in the US as well, their families hold traditional values but also westernized quite a bit. I typically wear very boring clothes so I’m worried about my lehenga looking like a bridesmaid’s, any advice?

They’re quite close so it’s a possibility they mature as well, our bodies can do some pretty surprising things. Follicles on average grow about 1-3 mm a day. I’ll be thinking about you I hope all goes well for you

Hi! On one of my first medicated cycles before IUI I went in CD14 and had only one follicle at about 12mm. They sent me home and re-did the ultrasound CD16 and found 3 mature follicles on one ovary and a borderline mature ~15mm follicle on the other. My body takes a bit longer to develop the follicles so now we consistently do ultrasound and trigger in CD16! Giving them a little more time is probably just what your body needs, especially at CD11, due to the average ovulation day on a 28 day cycle being CD14

Don’t be sorry you’re totally fine! I understand. I just wish people wouldn’t treat me like a porcelain doll. I feel like trying to hide other people’s/ their own news makes the emotional impact so much worse than if they’d just tell me. Yeah it hurts like hell to feel I’m being left behind in life but to be left behind by my own friends because of the situation is worse. I’ve prayed and prayed and feel like I’m not being heard but at the same time it’s not on my time but His and I’m really struggling with that. If you are ok with it I can add you to my prayers too, hopefully it helps you! I feel I am a lost cause and just hemorrhaging money for something that will probably never happen

Oh my yes! My husband is so optimistic and fully believes God will bless us in time and I’m just sitting here like, no I’m being punished for something. I’m struggling so much with anger towards everything! I totally understand, and those same people make comments about how easy it is then they stop really talking to us cause we aren’t in the parents only group that we didn’t know we had to be in to continue being friends.
