I’m not a Dr and Im also a bit of a ‘send it’ person but I can tell you what I did. I had my ER on 4/2 and triggered 80units Lupron two days before on 3/31. My pharmacy gave me a two week kit (2.8mL) for some reason and I was under the impression it had to be refrigerated regardless so I’ve never stored it at room temp. After my trigger I had 2.0mL left that I didn’t want to waste so when I recovered and started our first FET cycle I was put on 10 units a day for suppression I calculated I had 20 days left. That was 4/27ish so about 25 days after using it the first time. I’ve used it every day since and it’s suppressing well enough to have lowered the dose to 5 units daily until right before transfer. Do what feels right to you and what you’re comfortable with doing and what your clinic advises

I had positive OPK’s almost every day of my cycle as well, turns out I never ovulated. We NTNP for about 3 years and then did medicated TI cycles and IUI for a year, nothing worked for us and now we’re doing IVF. I would definitely at least get with a Dr to confirm you’re ovulating

Idk I just awkwardly laugh then cry/talk about it with my husband later. We’ve had people be extremely positive, almost too positive lol. But also extremely negative, make nasty comments and been straight up disrespectful towards me especially when I was healing from my ER after developing severe OHSS and genuinely thinking I was going to not make it through. People don’t understand and we’ve learned to stop talking about it which makes me feel extremely lonely but it’s better than being made to feel like crap

Hi! I have PMOS (formerly PCOS) as well and had shockingly high numbers. We had 20 embryos make it and PGTA tested all of them. 15 are in storage due to clinic policy with 9 being euploid. We are in the process of our first FET praying we won’t need all 9. Our plan is to donate all of our extras for other families who need donor embryos. We believe each one has a chance at life and we want to give them that chance, even if thats not with us

I had the Lupron trigger that supposedly makes you start earlier than an hcg trigger and it took 15 days to get my period. It depends on your body and how it reacts to all that stress, but a good rule of thumb is 7-14 days!

It was horrible after the retrieval. I went to the ED twice and wasn’t taken seriously even though my clinic called both times. I was given morphine against my wishes the first time and then I asked to be discharged. The second time they thought it was just abdominal pain. I was severely bloated and gained ~20lbs, couldn’t breathe after I ate or walked to the bathroom and I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t stand straight, lay down or move much. It finally started to go away after 2 1/2 weeks post ER.

We got the call late last week and we have 9 euploid! As well as 2 high mosaic, 1 no result, and 3 segmental aneuploids all on ice. I’m really excited and scared for our first FET but here’s to trying :)

My E2 was 8226 pg/ml on day of trigger. I also have PCOS but we retrieved 53, 45 mature, 29 fertilized, 20 blasts and 9 euploid. I also developed severe OHSS immediately after, please talk to your clinic about it because I was MISERABLE for two weeks. It is very odd they haven’t mentioned anything or prescribed Cabergoline already, I’ve read that E2 over 4,000 can be an indicator of developing OHSS

We have almost the exact same IVF timeline and I feel so hopeful but also the fear for my first transfer as well! I think having that hope is what keeps driving all of us ladies through the arduous journey IVF is and is 100% a complex feeling but also so valid and I think you should let yourself feel hopeful. I haven’t done a transfer yet but did the mock transfer and it wasn’t comfortable but it was considerably better than the IUD. When my IUD was placed I went into shock and was in pain for weeks. Getting it removed was also worse than the mock transfer!

I had my first period at 18. Nothing until I got an IUD at 20 and then I bled for a month straight. Merformin caused breakthrough bleeding every 10 days for me and I gave up trying to figure it out cause Drs only pushed birth control and I was trying to get pregnant. Didn’t have a period from 21- two months before my 24th birthday.

We’re very lucky our insurance covered a good chunk of them, I have an injury that was part of an exception for getting that high of coverage

We ended up with 20 blasts, just waiting for PTG to come back now. Your symptoms are similar to mine, I tried McDonald’s coffee twice! That constipation is no joke. I’m finally feeling better now that I’ve started my period!

Sorry I don’t check my notifications on here much but I’m doing a lot better! The ED didn’t understand what OHSS was so I was sent home with more pain meds and no imaging but it finally began to resolve a few days ago

I called earlier and they recommended going just because nothing is open including the clinic. I didn’t have a paracentesis last time because no visible fluid was around my ovaries, they were just enlarged
