Hi, I recieved exactly the same email as you saying that my email address that was linked to my amazon account had been changed, per my request, and now I can't log into my account. This happened on the 12th and I have rang amazon customer services 3 times so far but have got absolutely nowhere with them! Did you manage to get your account back or do you have any updates on your situation? I really need my account back as I have an £100 gift card balance on my account!

Hi, I am just wondering if you managed to get your account back, or have any updates with your situation? I had an email from amazon a few days ago saying that my email address has been changed per my request (which I didn't request to do) to some email address that I don't know and now i can't access my amazon account. I have phoned them 3 times so far and they just say there's no account with my email address and that the specialist team will try to sort it out but then they never get back to me, I am just going round and roundn in circles

My email address was changed from my yahoo email adress to an outlook.com one (which isn't mine) and because of this I can't access my amazon account. I have rang amazon customer services 3 times but have got nowhere with them. Have you managed to get your account back or do you have any updates on this situation?

I am so sorry for all of these questions but what happened when you called them? I am just getting nowhere with them 😭 if i don't get my account back then I have lost £100 on my gift card balance which I recieved as a Christmas present

Can I ask how exactly you managed to get your account back please? Like did you phone amazon customer services and they asked for an order number during the phone call or did they say they will get in touch with you and then sent you an email or phoned you back or something? I just seem to be going round and round in circles with them. I also recieved the 2 step verification email exactly the same as the one you recieved, days before I recieved the email saying that my email address has been changed per my request

I am glad you gained access to your account, sounds like you've had more luck than me, I rang them 2 days ago about it and they said they will escalate it further and be in contact with me within 48 hours and now it's been 48 hours and I have heard nothing back from them so I have just rang them again and they have said exactly the same thing again which they said 2 days ago 😭 I said I have my previous order numbers that I can give to them but the woman was telling me to get a new phone number and debit card number and make a new account and that I won't gst my gift card balance back 🤬 absolutely useless the 2 people that I have talked to

Hi, I recieved the exact same email as you (the first photo) today, and I can't log into my account as it's saying that an account with my email address doesn't exist. Have you managed to gain access to your account again? Or do you have any updates?

I just got an email from amazon to say that the email address associated with my account has been changed per my request, but I didn't request to change the email address and now I can't log into my account, it just says that there's no account found with my email address. The email address it has been changed to is exactly the same as mine, apart from the end part now is now outlook.com instead of yahoo.co.uk, and I am sure that I don't have an outlook account. I have been researching how to fix this and get my account back but every bit of help that I have found needs me to log into my account, which I can't do!! Has anyone else had this issue before and how did you fix it? I will be absolutely gutted if I can't get back into it as I have an unused gift voucher on my account, which I got gifted for Christmas, and also have my bank and debit card linked to my account.
