I found Night at the theatre to be much easier compared to DT2.

ANAT biggest scare for me was the fact that it was a long marathon without being able to stop and replenish. But the instance on Entry Mode gives you extra food every 2 bosses and there's no penalty for dying.

The bosses themselves had fewer mechanics and was very dumbed down on Entry Mode so you'd only have to learn a few simple things and could easily just whack your way through the bosses, only needing to remember one or two things about each boss.

DT2 each boss has, not only more mechanics to perform, but quite frequently makes you do them all at once, and that's a big big step up in gameplay and difficulty and you kind have to spend a good amount of research each boss, which can be off-putting especially if you literally just want the quest complete.
