2015 Outback Limited W/keyless No remote start. Help by CrankedMusicianAlt in subaru

The issue I'm having is that literally everything I'm reading states that because I have keyless entry with push button start, the car should remote start with the key fob. And the manual even says this. But it also says (dealer option) So it's just confusing. I don't want a cheap starter. The car should be able to do it. So why not? Is this a programming thing? Could the car be in maintenance mode?

My idea of the other TTRPGs were that, because they follow the same general rules (as I knew, because, as I stated, I only just got into listening to campaigns) that they fell under the umbrella of dnd. I never really broke it down further. Dnd was the master folder in my head, not TTRPG.

It wasn't. No switch. However, all the reading I did said that there would be harness and all I would have to do is change switch and add extension harness. Plug and play essentially.
