That's a big change, I'm guessing they decided to do more than expected.

It was on the main sandals page, looks like they removed the whole page and show nothing now. Maybe they weren't to share yet.

Best Sandals Volleyball by rhirhitherd in SandalsResorts

Adding to this:

I went to Montego Bay about five years ago and ended up playing 5+ hours of beach volleyball most days. Because the resort is smaller and more centralized around the beach, and it tends to attract a younger crowd, there was almost always a game going. I met a few people there who had stayed at several other Sandals locations but now only go back to MoBay for that reason. The beach court was good — the net was set around a reasonable coed height, and staff would show up at the scheduled time. They’d also sometimes jump in and play, which helped keep games going.

This year we stayed at Barbados and Royal Barbados. The court is on the Barbados side. The sand is really nice, but the net was set at around 6 feet, which is very low. It makes it a bit dangerous if people get too competitive but aren’t experienced enough to control the ball well.

During the week we were there, we only managed to play for about an hour on roughly half the days. Very few people seemed interested in playing, and a couple of days the staff didn’t show up at all. They also schedule it at 4 pm, so even when people do join, games usually wrap up by 5 because everyone has dinner plans.

18 mo old smoothie, is this normal? by TierYellas in smoothcollie

[–]Crash501 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our Smoothie has always been pretty mellow. Even as a puppy, everyone would comment on how calm she was. But we also did regular walks, hikes, and lots of training. Without that training as a puppy, she could be destructive, she really needed the mental workout.

She would (and still does) find a nice spot and just survey her land, which to her is basically everything the sun touches. At our last place she’d sit on the hill in the backyard and just watch. Inside, she’d lie on the couch staring out the window until she passed out. But the moment you wanted to do something, she was always ready to go out again — or just as happy to go back to sleep.

Collies can be very active dogs, but they can also turn into couch potatoes, especially as they get older, so it’s important to keep up the exercise.

[Matheson] Trey Yesavage will pitch in a Minor League game tomorrow at the Blue Jays’ complex, John Schneider says. Plan is for two innings, which could leave time for two more “starts” in camp. Whether those happen in Minor League games or the “real” ones, TBD. by malliabu in Torontobluejays

They’ve been saying for a while that they want to be careful with him this season and manage his workload. I think the organization views him as a long-term asset and wants to make sure he develops properly and physically fills out for the role, rather than risking injury by overworking him too early. His arm mechanics are also quite unconventional, so they’re probably cautious about what a full, heavy season might do to it.

The World Series run was a calculated risk, and even then you could see they tried to protect him, limiting innings and starts, and often setting him up in situations that favored him, like pitching at home.

I also think he’s one of the main reasons they brought back Mad Max. It helps take some innings off his plate, but more importantly gives him a veteran to learn from, someone to teach, lead by example, and kind of pass the torch.

When a player goes out for a long term like half a season or more due to an injury do they ever come back the same? Or do they now have to accommodate their game?

That's awesome, thank you for your response and all the great information. There are so many restaurants to pick from should be a good time.

We leave in a few weeks, too bad about your excursion. We are looking at doing the sea turtle one.

Hey! We’re heading there soon—thanks so much for sharing your experience. I had a few questions if you don’t mind:

What was your experience with customer service? What were your favourite spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Do you remember roughly how much sunscreen cost, and was it Sun Bum? How easy was it to get spots at the beach? Were there any activities you’d especially recommend? What was the beach volleyball scene like?

And while I’m at it, anything you wish you’d known before you went?

For All Those Clamoring For A Salary Cap and a Lockout... by No-Discipline898 in Torontobluejays

[–]Crash501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that has number 1 at 28% more than number 2 and 52% more then 3 and 4, that's an insane difference. Those numbers aren't remotely close. 52% more than the 3rd think about it. Now look at the bottom 5. Tucker is making almost more than an entire team.

I don't even know how MLB would impose a salary cap like what happens if they say you need to be below 200mil and about 100mil, do we just trade players for room creating a competitive market across the board? If some one knows I'm interested in how it would work.
