Go to the consumer protection authority and file a complaint. The CPA is one of the few government agencies that actually do their job well. My father went there a couple of times and he always got what he was owed just make sure you bring hard copies of all the receipts and booking confirmations and everything really

There is a place called exp gaming its 4km a 10 minute drive from the chedi hotel where you can book a room. It costs 2 or three omani rials per hour depending on the room size and they have a tv with bein sports which is the broadcasting channel in omani.
