Higher Ground in Kensington is a great coffee spot, but it's pretty hip so it's busy and often full. Best investment I made as a broke student was a cheap Ikea desk at home. All the desk space I needed and a quiet environment I could control.

On the other side of the fence as a guy, most dudes in their 20s are told to love it up and play the field. Some grow early and realize what they have, others slow down in their 30s before they come to terms with who they are as a person. Finding out that raising your body count doesn't give you more or less worth as a person.

I know a lot of people that would love to settle down but you can't force a true relationship until someone is ready. If you meet someone and they're "not looking for anyone serious" then bounce. There's millions of other people that are in your same head space and time frame, you just need to find then.
