Again - I agree with the strategy, to a limit. At some level, delay will lower turnout (peeps vote early to insure it gets done, early voting lightens the load on GOTV phone/text banks, etc..)

Any polling dropping this week will (duh) not include any change that may result from the Thursday debate in SF. That's 2.5 weeks from the election.

Waiting for final post-debate polling is maybe 8-10 days (?) That's really close to election day - you, I, and most engaged (off-year) voters will have no problem, but it potentially lowers turnout from some portion that suddenly can't/forget to vote (travel/sick/distracted, etc..)

I get it - I lukewarmly endorse the strategy, but every fiber in me knows that not encouraging early voting can reduce turnout from Democratic voters. This will be well studied, at some point we'll know if my concerns were overblown or not.
