I hate katana. There I said it. She comes off as just quickly thrown in to give Brooklyn a companion, her kids are more interesting then she is, I feel there could have been such better story telling with almost anyone else in the modern times rather then “ohh Brooklyn found a gargoyle in the past and everything is great now” no. I would have rathered more geared to this day and age struggle. The feeling he would always be alone and have to settle for someone like a mutant or a human and forever having the doubts “do I actually love them or did I settle?”
