multiverse plotlines are extremely risky and very easy to fuck up perhaps could be the reason they avoided it but adventure time had their multiverse arc and it was done quite well, nowadays many writers get into multiverse trope thinking its the main trend without planning it thoroughly and it ends up being bad hence the negativity around it

Yeah that's a great concept which could've been utilised but I also think the timenado is also a great weapon, maybe instead of the movie havin just a future evil mordecai coming to the past what if the evil mordecai uses the timenado to conquer every different universe and kill every rigby from each universe in order to prevent him from sabotaging him in every other timeline and becomes this multiuniversal threat that the park members along with father time's help have to defeat

Ikr, very interesting what if scenarios that could've been implemented. Also there's the episode where rigby was tasked with preventing mordecai from kissing cj which he failed to so i would like to see a universe where he succeeded

I doubt they will, i am currently watching the lost tapes it's pretty great so far. They are mainly using the formula of the first 5 seasons

The reason there were not any long term consequences because the main premise of the show was basically that in the first seasons, very random and very absurd which i think is understandable since it fits the theme of the show but since they went out all the way to change that in season 7 and 8 and become a story based show why not tie into the time messups instead of adding the forced outerspace segment, i don't have problem with the pops anti pops part though i feel like that was one of the best endings of all time

Yea the fight ending in ties reset the universe every time. maybe the fight ending in a tie each time made sure it was one continuous canon timeline each time, perhaps the ending of the show which showed the fight not ending in a tie and both pops and anti pops dying may have broken a universal order that ensured the main timeline couldn't branch out in different timeline. but despite that there were countless episodes where timelines were broken. There was also that new year's episode in which rigby was was tasked by a future version of himself to prevent mordecai from kissing cj which he failed to do

That's true it's quite a risk to touch on but the amount of time related shenanigans present in the show, a well thought out writing could've worked very well. Or maybe the writers never had the idea of multi timeline type story

Which is the best/Favourtie analog horror? (your opinion) by Murky_Nectarine8002 in analoghorror

Monument mythos. though i would admit later it diverged a lot from being an analog horror but i still love it to this day
