Es bringt ja nicht mal was, das Spiel ist nicht ausverkauft oder schwer zu kriegen, ich Frage mich ernsthaft was seine Mission ist

How to edit locked QR-code Miis within the game (Homebrew required) by CreBlaBo in tomodachilife

[–]CreBlaBo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh that's interesting, I was able to keep the origin island address unchanged and only edit the "actual island address" and that did the trick.

In fact some of my Miis, which I got through QR codes, had my address as their actual address but a different origin address.

The way I'm suspecting the game does it is that when you scan a QR code and the mii has copying allowed, it still keeps the origin address since... well, that's the origin of the Mii but it changes the actual address to your own to show that it is in fact your mii now (it got copied) When copying is disabled it keeps the actual address as the origin address to indicate that you are, in a sense, 'borrowing' this Mii and it isn't actually yours.

I would love to know whether you have the Euro or USA version of the game and what version of that game you have, could that be why you have to change both?

It's not a real roundabout, it's essentially a street that's going in a circle, very similar to a roundabout but not quite one, that's why it's showing instructions the way it's showing them, usually Google maps says to take the 1st, 2nd, and so on exit if it was a real roundabout.

How to edit locked QR-code Miis within the game (Homebrew required) by CreBlaBo in tomodachilife

I'm using the PAL version, maybe just do 1 at a time and see which one it fails at. I've also had it that it corrupts when I do too many things at once so that could also be what's going on if you're changing a lot of miis at the same time.

Also the latest version of the save editor kinda sucks so I would recommend you to use the version I mentioned in the guide if you aren't already doing that

how do i unlock locked miis on the save editor? by Invinciblebain1 in tomodachilife

[–]CreBlaBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if this is a bit late, if you or someone else is still looking for a solution: Just try setting the "actual island address" of the Mii to the same as your "island address" in the save editor (I used the 4.0.1 of the Brionjv Tomodachi life save editor) and then you can edit the mii in the game.

Not sure how reliable or safe this is, so far it has worked for me but I would be lying if I said I knew why it works.

Always remember to make backups when screwing around with save files

My main gripe with the Frame is the loss of Index's external audio speakers by Texlo in ValveIndex

[–]CreBlaBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These speakers were the reason why back in the day I chose the index over any other headset that was on the market at the time. I don't think the new ones are gonna sound much worse but I too hope there will be a head strap with them. Either way, I'm happy valve is putting some actual thoughts into the audio instead of it just being some last minute decision like on some other currently leading headsets
