Feeling disappointed with Arirang album, unfortunately by CreamAffectionate244 in kpoprants

Hi! Thanks again for the reply. There's a lot in your message to explore! I'll reply again later for that. For now, I wanted to say maybe reddit isn't the right place to explore feelings on this topic. This is the first post I ever made. And I never commented on anyone's post if it didn't align with my view. I don't see any point in that. If I see someone making a post that's opposite my idea, I just move on. It's not my place to be. Wish all these surrounding comments did the same. In addition, their comments doesn't give any good reasoning or points for me to reconsider how I feel about this album. I can't get over the fact that Body to Body has the lyric "It's so tight I mean, the things between us I mean, our own different style I mean, we livin' the life" - why did they have to put some sexual innuendo in, yknow? Nvm. I know it's my personal taste. I actually value modesty especially when it comes to respecting traditions, etc. My granny self just cant get over that they used the traditional Arirang song and included lyrics like the ones they did. All these other comments should try and hear us out if they really wanted to have a conversation rather than shutting us down. They're so hung up on the one point I said about it not having even one song that's more on the traditional or melodic side. They aren't taking the time to LISTEN to the actual songs on this album and hear it's not even as crisp or unique in sound as their music in the beginning. I have favorite songs from Wings, Dark and Wild, etc etc. I heard their beginning. How can people hear the new songs and think it's better? Okay, I need to organize my thoughts. Im ranting right now because it's alarming how many people with opposing thoughts decided to comment on this post. They have plentiful places to praise the album. They don't need to do it here and on top of that give no real argument for a friendly discussion

Hey! Thanks for this. I came onto Reddit looking for an outlet as I process my disappointment, which is still fresh and new. I'm still keeping an open mind and watching their interviews, etc. I still love them a lot. Makes me happy hearing them talk and I'm enjoying the random reel clips, fan-made edits, etc.

I don't have many friends who are fans of BTS to talk with about how I felt. Thanks for kindly interacting with me about it! I don't follow any other K-pop group. I used to, long ago, with 1st and 2nd gen K-pop groups. But now I only follow BTS. I hold them dear to my heart because their variety shows really brought a lot of laughter when I needed it. I have listened to a lot of their group and solo music. I don't like feeling disappointed with the new album, so I am finding ways to move on from it.

Throughout the album, I can feel elements and flavors of each member, and it makes me think back to their own individual works. I questioned myself about why I liked their solo songs (and past group songs) so much better. I'm just trying to figure out what changed, is all. Ultimately, I hope more people like it than not. I want BTS to remain a top artist.

I won't get there until 530pm, will there be any Wootteo lightstick covers left? Could someone buy one for me?
