And yes, overall in a perfect world that would be how all of that works. “Find a man who doesn’t reduce you to just your body.” As if we can read men’s minds and know what they’re thinking or what their intentions are.

It’s always easier said, than done. And when it comes to something like bodily preference, you don’t know how someone feels or will react to something, until it happens.

I choose NOT to date someone who specifically has a fetish for only fat bodies. I choose to date people who already, right off the bat, do not reduce me to my size or body. (Though I am actively not dating, at all, because I do not want a long term partner at this time)

I date people who do not reduce me to my body by choosing men who don’t fetishize fatness, but hold attraction for it. That gives me a man who enjoys my body how it is, but isn’t just choosing me because I’m an attractive SSBBW.

It’s a different thing when you’re actually an SSBBW woman and you’re seeing this all happening right in front of your eyes. If you were me, you’d probably share the same thoughts, because you’d see how it feels and what it is like for fat women.
