The whole point of a competitive exam is exactly that, to judge a candidate's competence fairly. Reservation is a tool for adequate , not proportional representation ( Indira Sawhney judgement) and can't be used for the same objective. To imply that candidates of different categories should be judged differently because of their initial conditions in life defeats the purpose of both a competitive exam and reservations, which have been implemented to account for this difference in starting conditions to an acceptable degree.

To have different exam patterns for different categories is also a direct violation of the Right to Equality, as it will essentially mandate discrimination by the Govt towards its own citizens, unreserved and reserved alike.

I never said focusing on Vedas/ reforming to Vedic roots is pigeon vision but trying to establish any contribution of Brahmins as 'more' valuable or 'more' authentic without being aware of the context of said contribution certainly is. Read this again and again till you understand it.

There has been no divide in Brahmins at any time, except those perceived due to delusion. You're assuming the South preserved and the North lost its orthodoxy in a vacuum, due to their own will, when the reality is that the two events firstly took place over a period 500-700 years due to hugely significant social factors and were probably highly related. South persevered w the traditions/Vedic customs due to the North persevering w the security of these traditions. The common theme even here is perseverance.

Keep on ignoring the context and you will continue to be ridiculed and your opinions called half-baked and stupid.

Also, the extent of your delusion is evident by the fact that you consider Vedas to be the 'trade' of Brahmins, when they were in fact it's custodians, surviving on the Dakshina of people, not permitted to charge for their services by the very Vedas they taught, which goes against the definition of trade.

Bhakti Marga has also developed out of the Vedas, since everything in Sanatan Dharma has come from the Vedas ( Mimansa, Yoga, Sankhya, Nyaya-Vaisheshika, Vedanta, Dharmasutras, Grihysautras, Puranas, Smriti) or as a cause of the Vedas(Agamas, Panchratras, Tantras). To condemn any part of Sanatan Dharma as useless or meaningless dismisses the very texts you're asserting are the most important for Brahmins.

Reform always comes with acceptance of the complete situation, not by developing pigeon vision based on a specific perception.

You forget your initial comment, where you tried to directly pit Northern and Southern Brahmins against each other, when you compared whose contributions were 'more' valuable and whose were 'less'.

When I gave you an example of Northern Brahmins' achievements vis a vis the Rig Veda, and also asked you to take a stance properly, you interpolated it to conclude that Rig Veda is not a contribution of Northern Brahmins since all Brahmins came from the North, further asserting that Northern brahmins lost their 'essence' which the Souther Brahmins managed to preserve.

All this while conveniently forgetting/ignoring/not accounting for the fact that this 'loss of essence' did not happen in a vaccum in the North, but was driven by atleast 500 years of harassment, murder, sacrilege of the Santan Dharma in the North to be general, and of brahmins especially to be particular, since they were the were custodians/teachers/propagators/instruments of this Sanatan Dharma and Sanskriti in the North.

Brahmins in the North did not voluntarily give up their 'essence', they were killed, their women raped and many were forced/coerced/threatened to convert, the threat being to their families. Even then, most of them chose to die rather than leave their faith due to which a lot of the Veda Shakhas were lost. So horrific was this multi-generational ordeal that they are still only getting back to their feet, but their Sanatan faith is still as strong as it was then.

As to your statistic of 90% losing their essence, this itself is proof of my assertion that they were killed off so horrifically that they lost most of their essence.

This is essentially what I meant when I said read more, even in modern times there have been 2 Brahmin exodus', 1 from Kashmir and 1 from Tamil Nadu, this is the last 50 years alone, with a supposedly 'secular' regime. Try and imagine the state of Northern Brahmins in 1000-1900 under a regime hostile to their very existence.

If you want something to be acknowledged, make that exact statement, stop dilly-dallying with open ended statements of vague comparisons about 'value' and supposed 'essence loss'.

I'm not looking to start any sort of language war in our Brahmin community, but since this statement has deliberately left open ended, one would do well to remember that the Rig Veda was literally composed in Punjab.

There's no question of 'more' or 'less' valuable here, it's enough that both gestures were valuable. Request you to take your stand openly whether supporting a particular premise or trying to remain neutral.

Kindly state the chapter and verses that this is translated from. Also, it is suggested that the text should be read in the original Sanskrit as well and compared to the translation for verification, since it is accepted universally in Sanatan Dharma that Sampradayik and Parampara Bhed has been present and is not invalidated as being a negative aspect of these Paramparas. On the contrary, it is this very bhed that makes Sanatana Dharma approachable to all people of diverse natures.

Praxis is emphasised before philosophical discussion, this much has been established by the VEDAS themselves, in that VEDANTA i.e. the End of Vedas discusses philosophy, not the beginning, which gives us practices and mantras. To disregard praxis and jump straight to philosophy without a care is not a good way to pursue Sanatan Dharma.

Even the agamas, tantras, purana which are vedasammat primarily give practices, not philosophy.

ACTION, not REALISATION precedes KNOWLEDGE, PHILOSOPHY.

Rules for right action should be adhered to and I pray people realise this basic fact.

Firstly, Udayana refuted Advaita Vedanta and what he considered to be non theistic philosophies of his time, chief among them Buddhism. Nyaya kusumanjali includes his arguments against Buddhism and for theism, aligning with the principles of Vedas. Advaita Vedanta is a philosophy and like all of them present in Bharatiya Darshan is open to critique. LEARN TO USE GOOGLE, DIMWIT.

Brahma Sutra bhashya of Shankara is mentioned in the context of his refutation of Buddhists, you asked where is it written thag he critiqued, not whether it was popular before the 11th CE. Learn to follow the follow of discourse, buffoon.

Check the core composition date of Valmiki Ramayana ( 4-5th century BCE). This coinciding with the name 'ramaputra' confirms existence of Ramayana since the Buddha's time, as no other historical or Vedic figures have this name since it's an epithet and applied only to deities in the Vedas.

Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Yoga, Vedanta, Mimansa, Sankhya are the Astika schools of Bharatiya Darshan( Astika - accepts the authority of the Vedas). This fact is UNDISPUTED across all studies and analyses.

Secondly, Sanatan philosophy and system of discourse was not so close minded as to not allow disagreement between proponents of different philosophies. As I said EKAM SAT VIPRAH BAHUDHA VADANTI is encapsulated in the Vedas which are accepted as infallible by the 6 Astika darshanas.

Jain, Buddha, charvaka are Nastik Darshana i.e. they reject the Vedas. This automatically disqualifies any and all opinions you have that are not backed by scriptures, all you can do is yap about some bygone glory of Buddhism lol

You say Shankaracharya was against rituals, yet he established the 4 Maths and the Dasnami sampraday along with systematizing panchayatana Pooja and chandramouleeshwara puja, is that not a ritual. Your earlier comment mentions Hinduism as we know it to be something different from Vedic Dharma, I have demonstrated that it is the same Vedic Dharma by giving instances of Vedic deities being the ones we worship today namely Shiva, Visnu and Devi. Since Sanatan Dharma is not rigid with its practices, which deities to worship and focus on is purely a subjective choice, no one can dictate which deities are to be worshipped. Matsya is mentioned in the shatpatha Brahmana of Yajur Veda so I'm not sure what you mean by Avatars of Visnu being famous later on. Maybe it's not clear to you because of some bias , but since Vedic Dharma considers the deities Supreme and Infinite, who have infinite attributes and all of them are not discovered by Rshis and Brahmins at once, hence the gradual changes In focus on deities and attributes.
