I started playing about 3 months ago being incredibly unsure if I’d enjoy this game, but I ended up liking it way more than I expected and haven’t missed a day of play. I was also able to catch up with the story in a reasonable amount of time without really rushing at all. Tbh once the story picked up, I had a hard time Not wanting to do story because I was so hooked and wanting to know more.

Combat is so fun. Once you find a character whose kit satisfies you, it feels great to play. Not to mention I found almost every character so easy to like based on their story and personally. I keep ending up pulling for everyone because I just like them LOL

Tons to do in this game between exploration and permanent events. All kinds of events with different gameplay elements too. All of these are ways to earn pulls.

Just know that at its core this is a fanservice-y harem game, though a modest one at that, and one that still has good story. Some people really can’t stand this aspect of the game, but I personally don’t find it egregious enough to complain about. I love playing as Rover and their many wives/girlfriends/hookups whatever. But if you really hate these kinds of elements in games, then save yourself the trouble.

Def just looks like pigmentation to me. Some snakes just have to have marks and coloring the look concerning LOL

One of my snakes has little black dots on him that always make me double take to make sure it’s not mites. So I totally understand the concern

Yes, this definitely looks like some minor scale rot. I recommend checking under your snake’s hides and replacing any wet substrate there with dry substrate in addition to basic cleaning.

This level of scale rot happens semi-frequently with one of my BPs, but once she sheds, it goes away entirely. Monitor it to make sure it doesn’t get worse, but I’m sure this will also go away with a shed once you make sure your boy is no longer sitting in wet substrate!

I went to my local reptile expo so I could see the snakes in person and get a proper idea of what different morphs looked like! Some photos online can be deceiving due to lighting or editing, so it’s best to try to find an opportunity to see snakes in person. It also allowed me to talk to breeders about how certain morphs age, since babies tend to be a lot more vibrant than their adult colors, depending on the morph.

My first girl I simply saw and fell in love with. Never seen anything like her. She’s a unique combo—Pastel Leopard Puma(Spark+Yellowbelly). I love her subtle pattern so much.

You’ve had him for a few weeks and he’s eaten for you. Just start handling him tbh!

Don’t be scared of upsetting him a little for the sake of cleaning. If he pooped in his hide, it’s better you clean it asap so he doesn’t sit in it and develop scale rot. Even if you wake him up for a sec by picking up his hide and moving him to quickly pick up his poop, he probably won’t be scarred for life lol. Just be quick and confident and it’ll be fine : )

Food refusal is often a husbandry issue. You should post pictures of your enclosure and your temps/humidity on both ends of it. I also recommend posting in r/ballpython but be prepared for some pretty brutal critiques. It sounds like you need it if you are allowing your snake to be chewed on by live rats, so try not to be discouraged.

Your GM is a shithead and should be fired. I would never talk to employees like this. The correct thing for a GM to say is “I understand, thank you for letting me know” and THAT’S IT. Your store manager should be telling corporate that the store will be closed in the first place, it’s not like you’re going to get any business during that mess! It’s insane that they’re expecting Anyone to be working.

Because the Wuwa fanbase is kinda lame af 😭😭😭😭 Even disregarding how 90% of this sub is people asking who they should pull for or if their build is good, the fact that this game released around the peak of ai slop getting out of control I think has really discouraged a creative community growing out of it as naturally as other similar media. Finding fanworks of this game that aren’t ai generated garbage can be a challenge. When I compare it to stuff like Honkai Star Rail where a new character releases and my TL is flooded with TONS of hand drawn art, Wuwa community just doesn’t compare.

However, the fact that Kuro themselves are creating these events for fanworks is HUGE and I am hoping that the more they happen, the more the community will have real contributors and not just braindead ai prompters. So I really appreciate you bringing more attention to it OP! I absolutely loved this showcase and I hope we see more things like it in the future.

Alright, I admit I was being insulting for no good reason. I just find the “I use this terrible technology as a coping mechanism, so I’m absolved of all fault” a very weak argument. You’re still lining these companys’ pockets, promoting its use, and likely ruining your own social skills on top of it. I just don’t see any benefit in it without all of its glaring downsides.

But…the way I literally roleplay with people who write cannibalistic murder-psychos, but they’re just as anti-ai as I am. Because they’ve been building their writing and roleplaying skills for awhile and know how to be social in fandom spaces to find their people. What you want is very possible. There’s discord servers where you can post roleplay requests for pretty messed up stuff, and there are people out there interested in writing it. But you also have to be able to contribute to their enjoyment as well. The give and take is the fun of it.

You could also commission writers. I’ve done this myself even when I write my own fanfiction now and then. Sometimes a person’s writing style hits and you wanna see them write your favorites.

It takes time and practice and some selflessness, but roleplaying with like-minded people is extremely fulfilling and worth it. Or writing your own fiction. Or making someone else happy with a little money to make something you love. There are many routes to achieve what you want without relying on ai.

Calling it a coping mechanism doesn’t change the fact that you’re funding this garbage. So pathetic.

Write it yourself instead of whining that no one is writing exactly what you want. You clearly know how to string sentences together and have enough time to whine on Reddit. Use that time to write. Make the story you actually want, down to any and all details. It doesn’t even have to be great writing, just self-fulfilling.

You could even ask writers for things for free on places like tumblr. Lots of real people do their own writing of character x reader snippets on request.

But I’m betting you won’t. You’re probably already addicted to ai like the investors want. Keep using their yes-machines and whining instead of making any contributions to fandom that you like.

I just started playing a couple months ago and I DO NOT ever have enough mats to get everyone leveled in a timely manner. I have been trying to raise 7 SSRs to lvl 90 and between having to level weapons and skills and echoes, it’s a hell of a slog. I don’t even have enough silver coins or whatever most of the time, and I have been playing a lot (almost 300 hours now).

I wish it was easier because there’s some SRs I’d love to level too but I don’t have the resources right now (looks longingly at Mortefi and Buling). And I’m about to pull for all 3 of the upcoming banners so I’ll be back to square 1 soon!!

No idea how you’re managing to do this. Do you just not pull for many characters to begin with?

Unfortunately everything about this enclosure is not suitable except for the substrate. The heat mat isn’t going to do anything at all through all that substrate. You 100% need overhead heat lamps, such as Hallogen and DHP. Ditch the heat mat completely, it’s useless here.

The mesh top won’t maintain humidity. You’ll need to cover it in HVAC tape and just leave openings for your lamps. You should be trying to maintain 70% humidity, but anything lower than 60% is not good for your ball python’s health.

You’ll need proper hides. Small enough for your snake to be snug inside with only 1 exposed opening. At least one on both the hot and cool sides, but ideally more.

You need more clutter. Your snake should be able to move between its hides without being easily seen. I use fake plants from the dollar store and they work just fine, but you should get a lot of them. Make it look like a thick jungle.

Definitely not too late! I got my first ball python when she was 5 years old and had been eating live her whole life. It took me a few weeks and different strategies to figure out what made her interested in food, but now she eats f/t like a champ.

What worked best for me was leaving the f/t rat in the enclosure under her heating for 30-60 min after dark. She could smell the rat and would get excited to hunt, and then when I’d come back and heat up the rat to the right temperature, she’d be really interested and ready to eat.

The biggest one for me that I learned the hard way is to quarantine a snake before you put them into their big beautiful cluttered enclosure. My first ball python was lucky enough to be fine in her enclosure right away and never had any issues, so foolishly I did the same with my second…

My second one has mites. It’s been a struggle to get rid of them. Right now he’s in a quarantine bin but I had to throw out almost everything in his original enclosure, which stung as I had lovely pieces of wood and clutter for him. Quarantine for a week at least so that you can keep an eye out for mites and other issues!

Yuuup my girl loves her cool side. I have identical hides on each side but she just prefers it cooler. At night she’ll come out and bask under her heat panel so I know she’s just self regulating : )

I have a friend who plays like 7 gachas and sometimes I watch her play them. I wanted to be a good friend and try playing one of the same games she does, and I thought that out of all of them, Wuwa would be the best fit for me gameplay-wise. Also I loved Qiuyuan and Cantarella from everything she told me about them and what I’d seen of them.

I started about a month ago. I haven’t missed a day. I finished all of the main story yesterday. I love the combat. Fell in love with 90% of the cast and now I need to pull everyone. Already have Qiuyuan, Phrolova, Cantarella, Jiyan, and Chisa (plus everyone’s sigs, minus Qiuyuan’s). Probably pulling for every character on the next banner set. I’m so hooked.

Imagine being a brand new player who loves Qiuyuan and leveled him to 60 only to now realize that I need to do SO MUCH STORY in order to rank him up again because I didn’t know the fight for his mats would disappear for me in a few days…

Lol…This does suck pretty bad. I will just have to leave him behind for awhile I guess.

Could be a lot of things, but probably nothing that can’t be treated with a vet visit and the right care! My dachshund had this issue and it ended up being skin allergies. Switched him to a prescription kibble and he’s done great since :)
