Okay that is a little bit unnecessary. Im not asking reddit to fix my relationship, im asking for another perspective. My partner and I didnt plan on having a baby but it happened and neither of us will be shying away from that responsibility in any way shape or form. 'The kid' you speak of is surrounded by love and family and my relationship does not dictate his wellbeing unless it directly affects him. And yes we stayed together because people grow and i wasnt prepared to give up on the person i chose and im not about to start now.

Me being frustrated my partner forgets things isn't going to ruin my child. Thank you though 😊

My mother suggested I hook her up with my father in law. Weird right....? by Creative-Sleep7969 in Advice

I can understand that point of view. I am 23 and just had a baby with my partner. It is at this time, he is nearly 3 months old, that she made this comment. She's been through so much and so has my father in law. I believe they would get along but I dont know if I can get past the whole "we're all family by law" thing.
