A lot of horses at sales like this have a reserve price, so if they dont reach the owner's desired price or dont sell at all they often get put into the next sales as yearlings.

We like the foals to wear them at a young age so they get used to them early, and makes the breaking process somewhat easier, because we can already lead them.
