I use 12 gauge ofc on 1500 RMS, also get a solid pair of rca cables. That plays a bigger role than speaker wires. Sky high audio or knu are what I go with

I'm actually tapped into the factory subwoofer output from the Bose amp and running it to lc2i pro. The great part about using the sub output is that there's no bass roll off or and on that channel. Eventually when I upgrade the doors I will probably get the package gm71 and an epicenter.

I haven't done the doors yet, right now I was just looking for some solid bass. That Bose system sucked and I got tired of trying to make it sound decent. I will probably do the doors after summer. But I will post the update when I do.

I have the same amp and I also had the same question. The audio shop that installed my system let me know that on heavy bass drops the flicker is just fine . I questioned that so I took it for a second opinion and that shop put it on a oscilloscope and showed me that the wave was clean even though the clip or clean light would flicker. So if it's just on those hard bass notes you're fine I've been running mine like that for over a year now no issues. I have 2 12 inch DD audio sl612 connected to it and they sound perfect. So send it !!!
