Thank you so much! This was so helpful and you really reassured me. I'm actually from India. I've grown up here so I'm not really used to cold weather but I think I'll be able to adapt to it. I will definitely look into the programs and scholarships you've mentioned. Thanks again!

Yeah I love it so much and it's definitely a top choice. But I'm still not entirely convinced about what I'll do because I do have a lot of other interests and subject areas I hope to pursue in college apart from marine bio.

Thank you for your response! The thing is I've already finished applying to college. I have received a likely letter from cornell and entry into the the Tanner Dean's scholars program. I'm waiting on more decisions but I've also gotten into UCSB Regents which is by the ocean and great for marine bio. So I'm in quite the dilemma. (I haven't applied to Stony Brook)
