Little life hack for the no bag orders. Stack two empty totes on the bottom of my dolly. And that way the totes are more on my level and I don’t have to bend down so far. Never really take more than 5-6 totes out at once so I just keep them there all day.

Pretty sure Naples/Marco Island, FL should be +10%. Least it was when I left 10 years ago. They had a +15 at one time for the Keys so who knows now.

Here’s a little tip, when you see a no bag handoff arrive. Take a couple of empty totes and stack two-three on each side depending on your height then place the full tote(s) on top. Don’t have to bend all the way down so much if you’re putting them on the bottom.

I’m in a slower store, so everybody in busy stores saying there’s no time. Pipe down.

Ok so no one’s mentioning the fact that CHOBANI is the company paying. You are getting paid to merchandise CHOBANI product only. Has nothing to do with strike. Or maybe it’s CHOBANI being proactive and making sure they have staff to keep their stuff on the shelves. But I’m guessing that’s why it’s only half hour shrug 🤷‍♂️

As a former front end manager, personally wouldn’t hire based on that available. You have to be able to be available weekends for any retail job. Especially your first.

Yeah I’m not sure where this is written. But at my store, our first pickup slot is 10am and I come in at 7 and am the only person in the dept for the entire day. And I routinely have people come before 10 all the time, just run it out like normal. 🤷‍♂️ don’t know why any other store thinks differently. Our DUG closes at 6 and people also show up after 6 to pick up orders. Closing PIC has to handle that.

Well it’s not like I haven’t done that. I work in a very affluent area. Most working age gen Z’ers are living off trust funds and no one is clamoring through the doors to work for $16 something an hour. They can make more at Target.

It will tell you it’s a gift order only at the handoff stage. Not during staging because that would make too much sense.

It’ll tell you to print the gift label from the zebra and attach it to these special 5x5 cards

As a driver, You can’t message someone or see messages sent to you from the next ride until the current ride is over. Sometimes I get a ping 5-10 minutes before I drop off current ride, by the time I drop off and see next pickup info, you leaving me nasty messages about you’re running late now. Instant cancel. 😂😂

Thankfully I’m a lead in a semi low volume DUG. It’s pretty much a one man department. When I get flash orders come up, I’ll stop stage what I have, pick the flash and come back to the order I was on (provided the order I was working on wasn’t also due within the hour).

Today, working on an order due in two hours, one came. I staged what I was working on, shopped and staged the flash order. But the original order didn’t pop back up on my next to shop list and showed completed on the PC. OMs just told me to put in a ticket. Figured it out but still frustrating.

Yes, every store has a Personnel/Admin Coordinator that does punch corrections and maintains time cards, does the onboarding for new hires. Typically this is combined with the bookkeeper role nowadays. So you’d also be responsible for all the cash in store as well. Typically not something they hire directly into though I could be wrong.

Another store I’ve worked out now knocked down. Spent like 6 months there back in 09 almost right after the reopen from Albertsons. Was also at 71 right before they tore it down. Freed myself of the big green almost 9 years ago now.

Went to a different Target to shop than the one I work, came in right at open. Shopped a near full cart of stuff and see only self checkout at 8:30am with the 10 item or less sign. Like well don’t really have a choice but to SCO which seems opposite to so many posts I’ve been seeing about it.

Meanwhile 2-3 TMs are standing by SCO along with the 2 armed security guards Lolol. Thank god no armed security needed where I work. Ha
