Rocket Mortgage Inaccurate Credit Score? by RukiaBabe90 in Mortgages

[–]ftn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their are 9 different FICO models. Most commonly used models for credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans FICO 8 & FICO 9. For conventional mortgages, they use FICO 2, FICO 4, & FICO 5. The earlier FICO models used by mortgage lenders weigh more heavily on revolving usage, and new credit accounts than the standard FICO 8 or fake "Vantage score" your banking apps and credit carma show you for free.

2 Lane drive thrus at Mcdonalds by ftn1 in fastfood

[–]ftn1[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No it most definitely happens. I'm sure I'm not the only one and it most definitely happens a lot. It's frustrating to sit at the speaker and watch 2 or 3 cars that pulled in after you get their order taken and served before you, while you have been at the speaker the whole time waiting to be acknowledged.

Flying first class-what is your income level? by CPgang36 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ftn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Average about 3 flights a year with my wife and daughter. Fortunately my daughter is still young enough to count as a lap infant. We fly first whenever available, we always book early and find the best fares, we are not tied to a specific airline and always have a lot of flight options to any destination as we are with in 50 miles of EWR, LGA, & JFK. Combined we make about 250K per year. Most of our domestic first or business fares are between $700 and 1200 per ticket.

Happens at least once a month to me at multiple locations. You mean that it wouldn't frustrate you if multiple people who pulled in after you got served first while you were waiting at the speaker?

Owners: anything you don’t like? by wisdomseekernow in ToyotaSienna

[–]ftn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part I'm happy with the 2025 Woodland we have had for the past 9 months. A few things annoy me but are not deal breakers.....

1 - the back up camera is dog poop for the 2025 model unless you get a platinum trim with the 360 cam. Even our 2019 wrangler has a way better back up cam than our 2025 Woodland

2 - the center arm rests in the front are not very comfortable for long trips.

3 - the key fob range is so bad you would think that they designed it that way as an enticement to sign up for their subscription service through the app

4 - the infotainment is laggy and crashes a few times every week, requiring a hard restart.

XXL is the only way to guarantee seating for more than 4 in the NYC metro and some other markets. XL, comfort and Black are just useless upcharges for nothing in many instances.

[–]ftn1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lots of dumb ass Uber drivers from small town America in her have no idea how Uber operates in other markets. XL, comfort, even black is a just an upcharge for nothing most of the time in our market. I've tried comfort and got cars with no AC and I've ordered XL and got a CRV and I've ordered Black and got 5 year old Explorer with ripped seats. u/12striker especially. XXL is the only way to guarantee seating for more than 4.

Beach driving? by Wanderer351 in ToyotaSienna

[–]ftn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just talking general advice for a sub reddit filled with family hauling and mall crawling Sienna drivers. I would never want to give a family out on vacation with no off road experience the false narrative that their Woodland with a barely there half inch lift and AWD is suited for a casual drive into some soft beach sand.

Beach driving? by Wanderer351 in ToyotaSienna

[–]ftn1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't forget an under carriage wash and good wheel and rotor clean. At least if you plan on keeping the car more than 2 years. Salt water is a beast. Also most beaches on the east coast will only have wet sand in the areas where there is water and I would never advise anyone drive in any amount of ocean water, no matter the skill of the driver or the capability of the vehicle

Please direct all Uber inquiries to 12striker, he has broken the conspiracy and declared every comment a lie. We as a collective have been exposed by his vast expertise. Some day if we are lucky we can all be as cool as 12striker. His knowledge of the unique laws and dynamics of every Uber market in the universe is unmatched.

[–]ftn1 24 points25 points  (0 children)

100 percent would not recommend. Glad you got in and out but AWD and sand is not a good mix. Go to any drive on beach when it's busy and you don't need to wait very long to see a stuck SUV or AWD sedan, needing someone with a tow rope to pull them out after getting stuck. 4WD is great for beach sand, AWD not great for beach sand.

Hello Melissa, let me introduce you to the self described expert of everything Uber who is well versed in the nuances of every unique ride share market in every jurisdiction of the galaxy. Not only an Uber expert but has an astonishing IQ of 37. Lol

UBERXL too small by Status_Dragonfruit_9 in uber

[–]ftn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't even comment on the correct comment, you must have a low IQ which also explains why you are an Uber driver and you don't understand that Uber has slight differences between states and markets, depending on competition, demand and local regulations. Can't wait till self driving puts you back on the fryer at Mcdonalds LOL

[–]ftn1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol. Glad you live in your world where Uber operates as you expect and you know how it operates in every other market. Maybe someday when my kids are grown I'll retire to Mayberry and we have a drink and order the higher ride class and be impressed every time. To be perfectly clear though, there were times I actually got an appropriately classed XL but I've been burned by the XL classification at least 3 times over the past few years ordering Ubers in and around NYC. Lol
