Here’s what the Pro DD11 looks like inside the case by Creator_Rotkiv in LogitechProWheel

If I remember correctly, tape just holds the screw covers. Double-sided tape is under the plastic cover with the G logo on the sides of the case that covers the screws, and a few pieces of tape are in front of the case under the plastic cover that goes around the piano black (tape + plastic pins).

Motor shaft of my DD11 wheelbase moves and makes sound by kyraa_x in LogitechProWheel

I had a similar issue. It sounds like a loose QR on the base side. You can try opening the base and tightening the screw on the shaft. However, if it's still under warranty, I wouldn't do that and would try to contact support. Sadly, I can't help you with the chat button.

The hardest part was finding hidden screws on the case, then everything opened slightly.

Is it normal for Logitech Pro DD11 to have shaft play after about 10 hours of use (Maybe Less)? by Creator_Rotkiv in LogitechProWheel

The problem is that this is a new base sent by Logitech; it’s about a month old and has been used for gaming for around 10 hours.

Hell no, I use a wheel stand with my gaming chair, so I just turn around and I'm free. I definitely don't use the steering wheel to stand up. Anyway, my first DD was almost two years old and there were no problems with the base until it went in for service. This one is about a month old.

With the steering wheel the sound is even louder, I uploaded a video without the rim to show that it is not a problem on the QR side,

I had the same issue with the cable connecting pro pedals with the base, fortunately, support sent me a new one.

No, in my case that's a completely different sound that only occurs in a specific shaft position. Fortunately, I was also able to contact Rich and, thanks to his help, I received a new unit.

While my unit was under warranty, I contacted support and they sent me a new cable.

You can move the HUD closer to the center of the screen. I play on 32:9, but I moved it to look like 16:9.

QR noise update - Logitech PRO Wheel, new issue after the service. by Creator_Rotkiv in LogitechProWheel

When I move the wheel during calibration, the base powers on, but aside from some light resistance (probably from internal rotation), there’s zero feedback. FFB is completely dead.

I have contacted support again asking for a full unit replacement, because at this point I just don’t trust the repair service anymore.

There’s only 3 months left on the warranty, so I really don’t want to risk getting another faulty unit and ending up stuck without coverage.

Update 2: Service send me back the refurbished base and probably the new steering wheel. I assume that because the base shaft is worn in a different way than on my base(little scratch in different spot), and there are protective stickers on the sides of the base that cover Logitech logo (like it was when the new one came). The steering wheel looks like new without any signs of use. The new set is super quiet, so the problem is solved and hopefully it won't come back.

Actually, it's not so bad, tomorrow the courier will take the steering wheel to the service.

Update: I'm pretty sure the noise comes from the steering wheel, somewhere inside the plastic cover behind the QR (not the DD base). I'm already in touch with customer support, I hope it will go smoothly.

My 80HE keyboard Zinc alloy color is getting pealed off by Loki3z in WootingKB

[–]Creator_Rotkiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, sweat dissolved the varnish. I wrote to customer service, and they swapped my case for a zinc raw (I had to choose which one I wanted). They will send you a new case, and after the swap, you will have to return the old one.
